Leadership & Vision
Infill Nashville was founded by John G. Brittle, Jr., Director of Land Sales at Village Real Estate Services. John has been a Realtor® in Nashville for over twenty years. Prior to joining forces with Village Real Estate Services, he was consistently one of the Top Producers each year at French Christianson Patterson & Associates. John was co-recipient of their Top Producer award in 2006 and in the top three in 2008. He is also a GNAR Lifetime Award of Excellence recipient. In addition to a book of business that includes over 400 home sales in the Area 2 section of Davidson County, John specializes in finding specialty properties for groups including schools, churches, non-profits and other organizations. John is completing the designation Accredited Land Consultant and will be only the fourth Realtor in Middle Tennessee and eighteenth in the state with the ALC designation.
A Nashville native, John began his career immediately upon graduation from Belmont University, where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration. He has twice served as Chairperson of the Project Pencil Committee, twice as Chair of the Legislative Committee, and is currently a Trustee of RPAC and GNARPAC. John was elected by the 4000+ Realtors in Nashville to the Board of Directors of GNAR in 2007 for a three year term, and is active in the Environmental and Legislative Committees. John is also active in local politics, especially in regard to Zoning and Land Use Policy, and he can regularly be seen at the Planning Commission and Metro Council meetings.
In 2006 John received the River Champion Award from the Tennessee Clean Water Network for the effort he spearheaded in his Crieve Hall area community to restore and protect the neighborhood blue-line stream, a headwater of Seven Mile Creek. In 2008, John served on Vice Mayor Diane Neighbors Sign Ordinance Task Force, which studied and made recommendations to the Metro Council regarding the use of LED signs in Davidson County, especially in Residential applications.
An avid wine collector, John founded WIN (Wine Investors of Nashville) in 2005. Their mission is to procure wine donations from other collectors, wineries, and wholesalers/retailer which are then donated to local charities for use in their Silent and Live Auctions here in Nashville. In 2006, WIN donated over 100 bottles of collectible wine to sixteen local charities, and has for two years provided all of the wine for three different 100-500 person fundraising dinners, Laughter for the Children (Monroe Harding), Pasta and Promises (Miriam's Promise), and the annual fundraising event for The Michael Stanley Child Life Fund.
John is currently on the Board of Directors at Monroe Harding and Miriam's Promise. He is a regular at GNAR Habitat for Humanity builds and is active at First Presbyterian Church and Franklin Road Academy, where he is an alumnus. He and wife, Helayne, have two children, Olivia (9) and Grafton (6).
