Eastwood became a Neighborhood Conservation Zoning Overlay district in July 2004.

Eastwood is characterized by architectural styles popular between 1890 and 1940. The area architecture exhibits elements of Queen Anne and Classical Revival details. The mix of Bungalows, Craftsman styled cottages and romantic English Cottages are common.
