Open Houses were held March 23 and March 30 to discuss the first draft of the West Nashville Community Plan (links to the first draft are posted below). Next steps include incorporating suggested revisions to create a more refined draft of the West Nashville Community Plan that will be posted to the webpage by Friday, April 24. Also, staff will discuss the Draft Plan with our Planning Commission at an informal work session on April 14. The public hearing to present the West Nashville Plan Update is scheduled during the May 28 Planning Commission meeting.

The West Nashville Community Plan is one of fourteen community plans which guide growth and development in Davidson County. Each of those plans is updated every seven to ten years, and amended as necessary; the Planning Commission approved the current West Nashville plan in 2000, with amendments in 2003, 2005, and 2007. The 2003 and 2005 amendments are included in the plan below, and the 2007 amendment is shown separately. Land use policies shown on the structure plan maps are contained in the Adopted West Nashville Community Plan
