Planners presented that draft at a community meeting March 24; it's posted below, along with a map of possible land uses and a blank comment form which can be downloaded, filled out, and returned to Planning Department staff. The Metro Planning Commission adopted the Donelson-Old Hickory-Hermitage Community Plan on October 4, 2004. It includes three Detailed Neighborhood Design Plans (DNDPs) which set out detailed land use policy for specific neighborhoods. What is a Detailed Neighborhood Design Plan? Land use policies applied in the Community Plan are described in the Land Use Policy Application. On August 14, 2008, the Planning Commission approved a new land-use document, the Community Character Manual, which replaces the Land Use Policy Application. The CCM will be used as community plans and amendments are updated in Subarea 14. Donelson-Old Hickory-Hermitage Community PlanAmendments Amendment 1 - adopted August 11, 2005; affects Tulip Grove Road south of Lebanon Pike Amendment 2- adopted November 14, 2006; affects west side of Donelson Pike near Lakeland Drive Amendment 3 - adopted March 22, 2007; affects area between Briley Parkway, Pennington Bend Road, and McGavock Pike Amendment 4 - adopted May 24, 2007; affects Old Hickory Blvd. and Industrial Drive Amendment 5 - adopted May 22, 2008; changes land-use policy related to the McCrory Creek Business Park
